TICKETS HAVE SOLD OUT.
Yes they are no more unallocated tickets. However some tickets are reserved and
unpaid for. If a ticket is no longer wanted it will be offered to the next in
the queue. If you have reserved a ticket and not received it, unless you have
been in direct communication, it is likely you no longer have a ticket. We did
get a few reservations and then no communication since. We also got a few
payment details with no reference. Although these weren't charged they were also
not reserved any tickets. We will not be holding tickets on the door for anyone
accept partners and close friends of performers and speakers.
Tickets £20
Prepay all tickets as there won't be any left on the day and
ticket reservations will not be firm until the tickets are paid for. Email us HERE
to go in the queue for standby tickets or confirm payment and delivery of any
last minute tickets that are reserved. Tickets are available to all 18 years old and over.
Tickets are non refundable but we may offer to re-sell them if you no longer can
attend.
Tickets are £20.50 each by cheque including UK 1st class postage or
for card details at £21.00 each including UK 1st class postage and
card transaction fee. Add 50p per ticket for European air mail and £1 for
world-wide air mail.
The fastest way to secure your tickets is to email us all your details,
including address and number of tickets to HERE
and then send your card details securely to us via The
Inner Bookshop Secure Card Payment Page. We cannot accept payment
in anybody else's name. Please make sure that
you give us you full address including postcode in the preceding email.
Getting There
The Canal Club is here on Google
Maps for those who need directions. There is a small car park there but it
has limited space and is locked over night. There will be some parking
outside the but please make sure that you don't park in residents only areas as
traffic wardens in Oxford are fast and the fines are high.
Getting to Oxford itself is relatively easy with a Railway Station (Train
Times) in the
city centre and a 24 hour coach service to London Victoria called The
Oxford Tube. For those coming from abroad, Oxford is situated in the centre
of England on the M40 roughly halfway between London and Birmingham.
Local Buses run to and from the City Centre and Wolvercote every half an
hour, until just before midnight. The Canal Club owner has a special arrangement
with a local taxi service and it will be best to ask for him to make bookings,
for those staying after the buses have stopped running and want to either get
back into town to make travel connections or need a taxi to their hotel.
Accommodation
There are few websites that deal with hotels, bed & breakfasts and hostel
accommodation. Here is a selection:
Hotels and Guest Houses
Oxford.
Oxford Bed and Breakfast hotels and guest house accommodation.
The closest hotels are ones around the Wolvercote Roundabout of which here
are a few:
Holiday
Inn
Barcelo
Hotel
Travel
Lodge
There are also some B&Bs nearby, listed in the web directories above. All
the Hostels including the Backpacker's
Hostel are in town though. A good hotel that we like and is nearer
the City Centre and known by people in G.D.O.S. is Pickwicks
Guest House.
Oxford City is well worth a visit on its own. Not only is the site of oldest
University in the English speaking world. It has the World's first museum, set
up by Elias Ashmole and was the site of the last Hermetic Order of the Golden
Dawn Lodge and is also the birthplace of Richard The Lionheart.
The Invisible College, Oxford, as we like to call the local Pagan, Occult and
Esoteric Community, is alive a well and has a large vibrant Pagan and Occult
scene that work well together and help organise events for the Oxford and wider
area. This is born out by the fact that we have one of the largest Mind Body
Spirit bookshops in the world here too, The
Inner Bookshop.
There is also quite a lot of beautiful countryside nearby as
well as many Ancient Monuments like The Ridgeway, Wittenham Clumps and
Uffington White Horse Hill. The Cotswolds are just West of Oxford and the
Hellfire Caves of West Wycombe just East. So if you come down for the event there
are plenty of things to do on the Sunday before heading back.
